Why should I hire a carpet cleaning service instead of renting a machine and doing it myself?

To keep the manufacturer warranty. Most mills have Carpet Care guidelines that call for a professional cleaning at least once every 18 months, using products, equipment, and systems with the Carpet and Rug Institute Seal of Approval. A rental box does not meet that standard — and it leaves soil and rinse water you paid to get out.

How often should I get my carpets cleaned?

As a general rule, a 12-month schedule is adequate. Each house is different. Pets, kids, allergies, and rental turns may need more frequent visits.

What are the steps that I can expect a certified professional to take when cleaning my carpet?

The IICRC S100 standard covers dry soil removal, soil suspension with preconditioning, hot water extraction, grooming, and drying. That is the sequence we follow — not a spray-and-vacuum pass with a rental box.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Pick up small items, toys, and breakables from the floor. We move furniture on request. Pets should be secured. If you have parking or gate instructions, tell us when you book.

Are your cleaning products safe for people and pets?

We use professional Bridgepoint chemistry matched to the fiber. Mild, green options are available. Tell us about sensitivities when you book so we can plan the visit.

Do you Move furniture?

Yes, on request. We move typical living-room pieces so we can clean under and around them. Very heavy, fragile, or packed items stay put.

How long does it take to complete?

A typical house is a few hours, depending on rooms, stairs, and spots. We will give you a time window when you book.

How long does it take to dry?

We set high-velocity air movers so most rooms are back underfoot the same day — often around 6 hours, not overnight. As a general time frame it should take no longer than 12. We do not claim a one-hour dry.

Are there any spots that you cannot remove?

Some stains are bonded with the fiber — bleach, rust, or dye transfer. We tell you on the job what will come out and what will not.

Won’t cleaning my carpets make them wear out sooner?

Soil is an abrasive. Leaving it in the pile wears the fiber. Proper extraction and rinse, done on a reasonable schedule, helps carpets last.

Do I need to be at home when you come to clean?

Not always. Many landlords leave a lockbox. If someone needs to be there, we will say so when we schedule.
